Australia Visa Information - Bangladesh - Visa Types

The information on this page is specific to applicants resident in Bangladesh.

Who should apply?

This visa allows business people to make a short business visit to Australia for up to three (3) months during your visa validity period. Business activities may include a conference, negotiation or exploratory business visit.

This visa is available to all passport holders who want to visit Australia for business purposes. No sponsorship is required.

Please note that persons wishing to attend conferences related to their work or area of specialisation should apply for a Business (short stay) visa, even if they also intend to visit Australia for the purposes of tourism

What does this visa let you do?

If you are granted this visa, you can:

	attend to business activities in Australia including conferences, business negotiations or exploratory business visits
	be allowed to engage in limited work, if for example it is highly specialised and non-ongoing
	enter Australia once or on multiple occasions during the visa validity period
	stay in Australia for up to three months from the date of each entry
	bring your partner or dependent Family-Children to Australia.

VISA APPLICATION
PROCESS

Step 1

Select a visa subclass which is appropriate for the purpose of your travel to Australia and download the relevant visa application form.

Please note: You can also obtain a visa application form at the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC).

Step 2

Your visa application may require supporting documentation For a list of supporting documentation required for your visa; see the checklist under the relevant visa category. Gather together required supporting documentation for your application.

To avoid possible delays, you should include all relevant information and additional documentation in support of your application at the time of lodgment (see the checklist under the relevant visa category)

Step 3

Walk in to AVAC to lodge your application and submit your biometrics.

Step 4

Lodge your visa application and submit your biometric data at an AVAC. The Australian Visa Office may contact you to request additional information.

Step 5

Important note for visa applicants:

To make a valid application, applicants must lodge a complete and signed application form for the appropriate visa class, pay the appropriate visa application charge and provide their biometrics. Application forms for persons aged under 18 years must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

All supporting documents and information should be submitted together with the application. Any documents that are not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.

To avoid possible delays, you should include all relevant information and additional documentation in support of your application at the time of lodgment (documents required see the checklist available under the relevant visa category).

If you do not provide all the specified documentation at the time you lodge your application a decision may be made on the basis of the available information. Australian migration legislation permits a decision to be taken at any time after the application has been lodged.

You may be charged a courier cost for any additional documents which you subsequently submit to the Australian Visa Apllication Centre.
