Applicants need to produce their original invoice cum
receipt for passport collection. Where the applicant is unable to collect their
own documents, an authorized person can do so on their behalf. The authorized
person will be required to present a letter of authorization which includes
both the applicants and authorized person’s signature. The authorized person
will also be required to present photo ID, such as a passport or driver's
license, and the original invoice cum receipt.
There is no change in Australian immigration requirements and the
decision-making process for the grant of Australian visas will remain with the
Australian High Commission in Dhaka. All applications continue to be assessed
on their merits in accordance with Australian legislation and policy.
The Australian Visa application Centre will accept applications, collect visa
application charges and arrange interview times at the Australian High
Commission.
Note: There is no change to the existing Australian policy regarding the lodgement of applications for entertainers, general skilled migration, parent migration and provisional entry to Australia on business skills grounds. These applications should continue to be lodged directly with the relevant processing office in Australia.
